Focal Point
In any scene one of the creative choices you make is what is the most important part of the image - what should be the focal point of the image.

I had just finished submitting a batch of images over at featurepics - and as usual I took a quick look over the most recent articles they have on their site under the Photo Club link. I spotted an article that took my interest - it was on copyright and digital images.

Using Levels
Today, when I was going thru a few hundred photos from a recent interstate trip, I was paying particular attention to how I go about processing the RAW file to get the most pleasing image possible from it.
To that end, I picked a photo that had a great composition but sadly lacked almost everything else.

Lens characteristics
Last night I went out with a specific subject in mind. To this end, I didn't take my whole kit with me I just took 1 Camera, 2 lenses a flash and a tripod. So, I went out, took a series of photos of the subject from various angles using both lenses and came home.
